The ‘crucial’ Pa. demographic that could ‘torpedo’ the Harris campaign
RealClear Pennsylvania Editor Charles McElwee looks at the influence of Catholic voters in northeast Pa. Pa. high court backs Krasner in impeachment case
The Inquirer reports that in a decision issued yesterday, the Pa. Supreme Court ruled “that state lawmakers who tried to remove … [Philly District Attorney Larry Krasner] from office two years ago had improperly attempted to stretch that process across two different legislative sessions. At hearing, focus is on Secret Service failures
The AP recaps yesterday’s hearing hosted by the U.S. House Task Force investigating the assassination attempt against former President Trump in Butler, Pa. on July 13. At the hearing, where multiple Pennsylvania officials testified, lawmakers “emphasized … that the Secret Service, not local authorities, was responsible for the failures in planning and communications that led to a gunman being able to open fire on former President Donald Trump.”
